The Action aims to harmonize, simplify and internationalise procedures for placing into operation ERTMS products and subsystems.
The Action, gathering a number of NSAs and NoBos (as RINA) from different Member States, will analyse the ERTMS authorisation procedures (in few member states) and propose
a single simplified and harmonised procedure
HIPPOPS is part of a Global Project on deployment of ERTMS in the EU as defined in the TEN-T Guidelines. It will further identify and define common tools for executing this international procedure and disseminate the results. Implementation of the Action will support and facilitate ERTMS deployment in the European Union.
