The vulnerability assessment of the piping system (bilge, sludge, black , grey) on board the Company vessels is aimed to have an updated picture of the on board current situation in order to establish ways to discharge polluted substances at sea. The goal of this service is to identify differences between as built drawings and the systems on board, as well as fittings in the lines (valves, flanges, tank covers, etc.) that could be used as access to the plant and confirm its integrity.
The service includes three (3) different phases:
RINA will deliver to the Cruise Operators a detailed ship report based on the check sheet used during the on board survey. In case where discrepancies between actual installation and as built drawings are found, RINA will provide a proper drawing evaluation and revision through drawing approval engineering center.
